Our Green Schools Committee decided to mark the day by holding a “Walk for Water” to raise awareness for the 2 billion people who live without access to safe water. Together  we completed a 6 km relay walk around the school grounds,  this is the average distance women and children have to walk for water. The Green Schools Committee filled containers  from the water butt in the school garden. We each carried these water filled containers along the route around the school.  After the walk we held an online  “Marine Environment” themed Kahoot Quiz. Well done to 5th Class who won the quiz and “Golden Time” for their room.
