Our School

Corduff National School is a co-educational national school under the Patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin and is linked to the Catholic Parish of St. Maccullin’s in Lusk. It is established and run under the rules and regulations of the Department of Education and Skills.
Our Roman Catholic ethos aims to promote the full and harmonious development of all aspects of the person of the pupil - intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual. At Corduff NS we aim to provide an environment where each child is given an opportunity to fulfil his/her potential in the academic, social, artistic, sporting and musical spheres.

We recognise and value our rich traditional, rural heritage and our place in the history of the local community.

The school models and promotes a philosophy of life inspired by belief in God and in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We promote a living relationship with God and with other people.

We respect the wishes and beliefs of families from other traditions and religions.

Where are we?

The school is located on the southbound lane of the old Belfast Road (R132) just north of the Blake's Cross R132/R127 Junction.

Enrolment Information

Corduff NS welcomes applications for enrolment every January for the following September. We do not accept applications in advance for other years. Enrolment is open for three weeks and this will be announced at parish masses, on this web site and by a banner on our school gate.

Children applying for places in Junior Infants should have reached their 4th birthday before 1st June.

Application packs will be available for collection from the school and will explain what is required.

Please note that we are a four classroom school and have capacity for a relatively small intake of new pupils each year. For example, Junior Infants and Senior Infants share one classroom with one teacher.
